Hospital Visitation Program
Recruits and trains volunteers who offer comfort and support to hospitalized HIP members to nurture the spirit and foster healing.

Personal Health Improvement Program (PHIP)
Provides the tools – through lectures, group exercises, and home learning – to combat stress, pain or discomfort and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine
Cardiac Wellness Program

Offers one of the many clinical programs of the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine (formerly the Mind/Body Medical Institute) that achieve comprehensive lifestyle modification objectives with documented success rates in reducing cardiovascular and other health risks and improving quality of life among participants. Developed by Herbert Benson M.D. of Harvard Medical School, these programs encourage participants to manage the cycle of stress, anxiety and physical tension that often drive the symptoms of disease.

Spirituality and Medicine
Offers continuing educational opportunities including the Carl E. Flemister Spirituality and Medicine Symposium, which is held in partnership with the New York Academy of Medicine and offers Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
