So Why Should You Choose A Medicare Advantage Plan Over Original Medicare?

You may receive more benefits from a Medicare Advantage Plan than you would with Original Medicare alone.

These benefits may include:

Vision, dental, hearing, personal fitness programs, and preventive services like annual physicals, etc. What's more, many Medicare Advantage plans include Part D prescription drug coverage. You'll get this comprehensive coverage from a single health plan, which makes things easier and more convenient. Overall, Medicare Advantage Plans let you select the coverage that really suits your needs.

Who can enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan?

  • Anyone who qualifies for Medicare Part A; and
  • Is enrolled in and continues to pay for Medicare Part B; and
  • Resides in the plan's service area.

Pre-existing conditions do not matter and no physical is required.*

If you're 65, soon to be 65, or if you have certain disabilities
You probably already know about Medicare. You've probably also heard about Medicare Part D drug plans. But most people think they only have two choices: Original Medicare, which includes Part A (hospital coverage) and Part B (optional medical coverage), or Original Medicare plus a Medicare Supplement ("Medigap") Policy, designed to fill in the gaps in Parts A and B.

But did you know that you now have more Medicare options?
It's true. Now you can enroll in what's called a Medicare Advantage Plan. Medicare Advantage Plans are health plan options that are approved by Medicare and run by private companies. They are part of the Medicare Program and sometimes are called "Part C." When you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you are still receiving your Medicare benefits. Medicare Advantage Plans provide all of your Part A and Part B coverage and generally offer extra benefits.

LIS Premium Summary Chart
Do you get extra help from Medicare to help pay for your Medicare prescription drug plan costs? If so, your monthly plan premium will be lower than what it would be if you did not get extra help from Medicare. The amount of extra help you get will determine your total monthly premium as a member of our plan.
