HIP’s Mail Order and Online Pharmacy Program
HIP has teamed up with Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (Medco®), to make filling prescriptions easier. If your drug benefit allows, you can fill your prescriptions with up to a 50 percent reduction in copayments. For added convenience, members who take maintenance medications can receive up to a 90-day supply.
- Getting Started With a New Prescription By Mail
If you have a prescription for a new maintenance medication, it is easy to get started with Medco. Simply fill out your Plan order form below and mail it to Medco with your prescription. Or, ask your doctor to call 1-888-327-9791 for faxing instructions. Only doctors may fax prescriptions.

- How to Receive Refills
For refills, call Medco’s automated refill system at 1-800-4REFILL (1-800-473-3455). Members who register at www.medcohealth.com may order online by clicking "Order Center." Your medication will usually be delivered within 7 to 11 business days after Medco receives your first order. You may receive refills even faster.
