Michael D. Fullwood
Biography
Michael D. Fullwood is a 1972 graduate of Harvard Law School, having
previously earned his BA in History with honors at the University Of Wisconsin,
where he was president of the student body.
His first professional assignment was as an attorney in Europe and the
Middle East for the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO), from 1972 through
1981. From 1981-1983, he was senior attorney at Caltex Petroleum, a Texaco-Socal
international joint venture. Mr. Fullwood joined the Scallop Corporation
of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group as senior attorney working on corporate
matters and international law, from 1983-1987. Between 1987 and 1996,
he was with Witco Corporation first as an attorney, then as group vice
president for finance and administration, and later as executive vice
president and chief financial officer with responsibility that included
directing and supervising a staff of 470. He also served as chairman of
Witcos Management Committee. Before joining HIP in August of 1998,
Mr. Fullwood was senior vice president, chief financial and administrative
officer, secretary and general counsel to Commodore Environmental Services,
Commodore Applied Technologies, and Commodore Separation Technologies,
from 1997-1998.
Mr. Fullwood currently serves on the Board of Directors of the New York
Chapter of the Financial Executives Institute and is a member of the Health
Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
