Working At HIP

HIP's Story
New York's hometown health plan continues to lead the industry in advancements in terms of both the quality of care we provide as well as the technology we develop to help our members access care. The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) recently recognized us for using technology effectively in helping members obtain information about their health status, health plan resources and benefits. Our Commercial HMO and POS plans were awarded a Quality Plus Distinction in Member Connections, as well as Excellent Accreditation - NCQA's highest rating. We have previously been ranked no.1 in the nation for our innovative use of technology. We are the city's largest HMO and we have more Medicare members than any other HMO in New York City. We have even created an entirely new Medicare plan-one of the first in the nation- to address the growing epidemic of diabetes in our city. What's more, HIP continues to be recognized by the New York State Psychological Association for our progressive employee programs, policies and support of employee involvement and development in the workplace.

A health plan that delivers and that treats both its members and its employees like family. Intrigued? Please read on.
